, Jon Paul practiced with a preeminent lawyer in Corpus Christi, Texas where his practice focused primarily on business, oil and gas, and employment related litigation. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Jon Paul maintains an active practice in south Texas as well as Houston and its surrounding counties.
Mr. Hoelscher often represents and counsels businesses and individuals in disputes before the Texas Workforce Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and other municipally run Human Resources Commissions.

- Obtained dismissal of multi-faceted RICO Complaint in Federal Court on behalf of several individuals and businesses in the insurance industry.
- Successfully represented small and mid-size businesses in EEOC administrative claims for discrimination and harassment based on sex, race, gender, and national origin.
- Assisted Senior Counsel in preparing Brief to the United States Supreme Court regarding maritime issues related to the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.

- Successfully obtained dismissal of claims in a Texas Workers Compensation Appeal by filing an exhaustive motion for summary judgment on client’s behalf.
- Obtained favorable settlement for individual consumer, including finance restructuring, in Deceptive Trade Practices and Contract dispute with national residential siding company.
- Advised international publicly-traded corporation on employment issues including: language policies, accommodation for disabilities, harassment issues, creation of employee handbooks, and handling of personnel issues.
